AKC/UKC Ch. Chimeric Desperado, CD RN  CGC TDI

Talon resides in Eastern PA with his family of Mike & Jackie,  along with brothers, Rem and Tonga -both Ch. Terv males themselves.  They live a just about an hour away so I've been fortunate to watch him grow up!

Talon is a goof of a dog...he has yet to meet a stranger and if you have food, you'll get to wear him!  He has a carefree attitude, but under that clown exterior is a serious working dog!  One of his rally legs was earned with a complete stranger -- he loves to work!  Talon also is a certified and active Therapy Dog.

His first litter, out of the beautiful Ch. Corsini Terracotta was very promising indeed but sadly, the dam and her litter sister began to seizure shortly after the litter was born.  It was a crushing blow, but we hoped for the best.  However, it turned out to be a hard-luck litter to be sure.  The lone male was lost in a tragic accident shortly after earning two back-to-back BOB honors (majors) over a top ranked special.  Two sisters completed their AKC Championships, with one going on to earn her UKC CH as well.  One girl Willow, earned her AKC championship with 4 majors, including an incredible weekend where she earned three back-to-back FIVE point majors.  Sadly, at 17 months of age, Willow began to seizure, so now the entire litter has been spayed.  The litter is now three years old and happily, no others have been afflicted.  The photo at left below was taken in happier times, when Talon and his daughters Aja and Willow earned a placement in the Stud Dog class at the ABTC 2006 National Specialty

We have strong faith in Talon -- we have his sister, dam and grandam home with us in PA and their robust good health belies their ages of 5, 9 and 12+.  Talon and his littermates have exceptional health and character so we do plan on using him at stud in 2008 with Brennah - who at 7 is the picture of health as well...Brennah and her littermates are all free of epilepsy as are Brennah's offspring, the oldest of which is now 4.  No breedings are without risk, but we feel that this breeding is no more risk than normal given the health status of most direct relatives.
